What can you expect from a Depot Climbing Shop?

We have eight climbing walls across the north of the UK, and all of them sell essentials such as tape, chalk, and coffee, along with our web store offering the complete range.
However, at 7 of our sites, you will find separate fully equipped climbing shops full of staff ready to help you.
To say we're proud of them and would love to welcome you through the door is an understatement, so please let me introduce you to various Depot Climbing Shops situated inside our walls across the North West and Midlands.
1. Nottingham
The Nottingham shop is small, but mighty! It features a comprehensive range of climbing shoes, training equipment, and accessories.
Here you can pick up everything you need for bouldering, indoor and outdoor. The original Depot and the original shop, the friendly team are always happy to find you your Cinderella shoe moment.
Here, it's safe to say it's all about the shoes!
2. Birmingham
Just a hop, skip and a jump from the iconic Bull Ring shopping centre, but in our opinion, the best place to shop in Birmingham!
Featuring a massive space filled with all the best bouldering kit and apparel from caps to climbing shoes and pads to pants, you’ll walk out looking fashionable in the latest Patagonia and Black Diamond kit.
3. Armley (Leeds)
A demure shop just behind and to the left of the front desk featuring all the latest shoes, clothes and accessories for bouldering.
As one of our two full shops in Leeds, this store is focused on bouldering, but still carries an extensive all-round range of shoes, guidebooks and friendly staff.
It may just boulder you away!
4. BIG Depot (Leeds)
The second of our Leeds sites. This wall is a classic climbing shop, offering a comprehensive gear range along with shoes and climbing accessories.
A team that loves all things rope climbing and is always able to answer any of your questions, as well as offering harness and shoe fittings.
The Shoe range is tailored to the outdoor climber and stocks some of the more specialist outdoor-focused shoes.
5. Sheffield
Tucked up behind the desk, we offer a comprehensive range for everything you would need to make the most of climbing in the local Peak District.
Featuring a comprehensive offering of gear from ropes and climbing harnesses to nuts, cams, and pads. The store also boasts a full bouldering and climbing guidebooks for the UK and beyond, a climbing shoe and almost any accessory you might need!
The team love to help, and you can head for a shoe or harness fitting any time.
6. Manchester (Trafford Park)
Just like in Armely, the Trafford site is one of two Depot Climbing shops in the city, and is dedicated to everything bouldering.
Attached to our biggest bouldering site, this climbing shop gives strong skate vibes, but don't be fooled, it's cool, but still all about the climbing!
With the shoe wall of dreams, this shop also has a focus on the smaller-footed, stocking a lot of performance shoes right down to small sizes.
7. BIG Depot (Manchester)
Just like everything at BIG Depot Manchester, it may be a little too big...but we're not sad about that!
The shop has the full range, including gear on a fully stocked sparkling gear wall, extensive accessory and clothing ranges and a climbing shoe wall bursting with the best styles from the biggest brands such as La Sportiva, Scarpa, Unparallel and Tenaya.
The latest of our shops and also where our online shop is based, you can order for collection here on your next visit or come in a try items, we will be very happy to help.
Our online shop exists to complement our brick and mortar stores, and we can also ship your online orders to your local Depot Climbing centre. We're confident that you'll find whatever piece of climbing equipment you need with us, on or offline.
