Looking for a versatile assisted camming belay device that works on single-pitch and multi-pitch climbing? Look no further than the Edelrid Pinch belay device.
The Pinch attaches directly to the belay loop of your harness, providing a low, close-to-the-body position that means it does not need to be held in place when paying out slack so that it’s even simpler to keep all your fingers gripped on the brake end.
A simple release lever means you are in full control of the lowering process and an anti-panic function provides an extra layer of safety.
This device is suitable for dynamic ropes between 8.5mm and 10.5mm, and static ropes between 10 and 10.5mm, and can be used both right and left-handed.
