Is there a weight disparity between you and your climbing partner? Ease your minds with the Edelrid OHm 2, designed to increase rope friction between belayer and climber, so that a lighter belayer can confidently hold a falling lead climber without difficulty.
The second generation of the Ohm is easier to use than before, with a swivel joint meaning that you can clip in any direction, and provides more room for movement of the belayer for optimum catching positions. An updated locking system prevents accidental opening too, and improves ease of loading with rope.
This device is suitable for ropes between 8.9mm and 11mm, and can provide up to 25 extra kilograms to the belayer, resulting in less force exerted when arresting a fall. Simply attach the Ohm to the first bolt of your route and climb!
